About PFC
Partnership for Change is a Norwegian, not-for-profit organisation that was set up in 2012. PfC is politically independent and non-denominational. The organisation is registered in the Foundation Registry and is a member of Frivillighet Norge, the Association of NGOs in Norway, and international organisations such as the European Venture Philanthropy Association (EVPA). Partnership for Change works to ensure economic independence for women with a view to contributing to sustainable communities – economically, socially and environmentally. Our head office is in Oslo and we have projects in Ethiopia.

The organisation
Partnership for Change was established in order to be a driving force for greater cooperation and new methods in aid and development work. We have developed our own way of working. Since starting up in 2012 we have learnt that our method leads to sustainable solutions for individuals and local communities. We currently have projects in Ethiopia.

The people
PfC’s head office in Oslo handles the foundation’s management and administration. In addition, we have a country consultant in Ethiopia. We also liaise with local project-related resources as required in the areas where we operate. Feel free to contact us – our philosophy is to work together with partners. Although we are a small organisation we achieve great things together with our partners.

Our method
PfC develops and applies new tools, methods and forms of cooperation to address societal problems. We seek cooperation across a variety of sectors in order to build solutions that are sustainable – financially, socially and environmentally. PfC always works through local partners and employs business methods to create enduring results. Together with partners at the local and national levels we identify needs and arrive at the best solutions. We believe in local responsibility and ownership.

Our partners
Partnership is the underlying premise and philosophy that drives our work. By working together – bridging sectors and traditional dividing lines – we are able to achieve more. Not least, PfC is focused on working with business and industry and we have succeeded in establishing cooperation projects with dedicated partners, enabling us to carry out sustainable development projects.

Our history
PfC was established by the philanthropist and social entrepreneur Ingrid Stange in 2012. In its first phase, the foundation worked to enhance awareness of the challenges facing the world and of new methods to tackle these problems. We have grown from being idealistically driven and funded by private money to becoming a professional organisation with a small administration, dedicated partners and projects in three countries.

Philanthropic guidance
Building a good solution takes more than a single person acting as a driving force. Funds are needed, especially when launching projects. Individuals with the financial resources to provide the necessary start-up capital are known as philanthropists. PfC has comprehensive experience in philanthropy and philanthropic cooperation projects and the foundation can offer qualified advice and guidance for those who wish to ensure that their investments are sustainable.

Management of Foundations
PfC has considerable experience from working together with grant-making foundations. Some of this experience is derived from funding activities for our own projects, and some from acting as administrators for foundations supporting other objectives. In practical terms, we can execute all administrative tasks, from preparing matters for submission to the board to coming up with project proposals and handling accounts and reporting. We base our work on each foundation’s objective and implement its board’s decisions.

Report Violations
If you suspect financial irregularities, experience or witness harassment, bullying, sexual harassment, discrimination or other reprehensible, unethical or illegal behavior – related to Partnership for Change’s activities or any of our partners – you can report this to us.
