There is a lot of creativity and design ideas in Ethiopia. Unfortunately, it is difficult for small companies to get loans due to very strict requirements for security in property etc.
Together with our partner Sumuni, PfC have therefore launched a project to give start-ups an opportunity to create growth with their good ideas.
PfC provides security with Amhara bank, while Sumuni uses its network and online platform to select promising companies that get access to loans through the bank.
This is a pilot project to stimulate local production of services and products within the early childhood care and education sector (ECCE) in the country. This will give entrepreneurs who would normally not get a loan due to lack of collateral a chance.
