During the graduation ceremony at the Good Samaritan Training Center (GSTC) this weekend, the owner of the textile factory Asbem Garment announced that they are offering all 40 students with major in textile jobs. A total of 134 women graduated in various disciplines.
During Saturday’s ceremony in Addis, 40 graduates with major in textile organized a fashion show where they showed their work. Present during the ceremony was among others the owner of the textile factory Asbem Garment. From the stage they announced that all the 40 textile students are hired by the company.
GSTC offers young women vocational training who qualify for jobs in the food preparation, sewing and beautification industries. On 31th of August a total of 134 young women were graduated from GSTC
PfC is partnering with The Good Samaritan Training Center to help women receive relevant vocational training. GSTC has been practicing vocational training for 14 years. In collaboration with PfC, they have now expanded their activity to provide 216 young women with skills that will enable them to become part of the country’s workforce.
